A Second Chance for Every Dog
We go above and beyond in our rescue efforts, focusing on dogs that are often forgotten, especially those unfairly labeled as "dangerous" due to their breed. These loving dogs are frequently overlooked and left behind, through no fault of their own. While all Lorca dogs are in need and will be featured on our site soon, we've prioritized those considered potentially dangerous breeds due to the urgency of their situation.

We're Still Waiting - Help Us Find a Loving Home
Will You Be
My Human?
If you’re ready to make a difference in the life of a rescue dog, fostering or adopting might be the perfect step for you. Both are incredibly rewarding experiences that provide a dog with the love, care, and security they need.
Fostering provides a temporary home, giving rescue dogs the love and care they need while waiting for their forever family. Adoption offers a lifelong commitment, providing a rescue dog with a permanent, loving home. Both make a life-changing difference for the dog, and for you.
Help Us Give Them a Second Chance.
Right now, the Lorca PPP dogs are in danger. Due to breed-specific laws, they face transfer to a new pound, where they could be put to sleep solely because of their breed.
We have only a few weeks to raise the necessary funds to keep them safe. Without immediate support for their food, shelter, and vet care, these gentle, loving dogs will be moved to a facility where their lives are at serious risk. Every one of them deserves a second chance and the opportunity to find a safe, loving home.
Saving Forgotten Dogs: A Mission to Give Every Dog a Second Chance
''After retiring, I was confronted with the heart-breaking reality of abandoned dogs, especially in a culture where children grow up watching animals mistreated in bullrings. It was then that I realized I had to act. These dogs, especially those unfairly labelled as "dangerous," are often left to suffer—misunderstood and overlooked. But when I look at them, I see so much more. I see their potential, their warm hearts, their loyalty, and their longing to be part of a family.''
- Chris, founder of Save a Rescue Dog.
